I have moved a lot, born in Florida, then to 3 houses in Colorado, to New Mexico, etc.
Each place was so different and all had their pros and cons. I’m curious, what are the pros and cons of where you live currently?

For me the biggest con would be the strange temps, one minute its -30 looking like a tornado will hit and the next its 60 outside with birds chirping.
The pros for me is the gorgeous hiking trails and forests and beautiful lakes, ponds and brooks.
I’m in Connecticut.

Pro:
No earthquakes tornadoes, ice storms, or major natural disasters.
Great Mexican food
No snow.
I do not own a parka.
11 mos of shorts weather.

Con:
Valley fever.
No water.
Millions of stupid people
The sun is actively trying to kill you half the year.
Did I mention MILLIONS of stupid people?

Sorry, I can’t help but laugh 😂

Sounds like you need to move. :lau

Oh, well i didn’t see the Mexican food bit. I guess you’ll just have to stay then. You can’t just walk away from Mexican food.

Born and raised in beautiful Louisville Kentucky!

Been in NW ohio for 14 years.

Pros: often deep and amazing snow! No poisonous snakes! Low cost of living. Nice people. Lake Erie. Great access to bigger cities.

Cons: Cold and hard wind. Frigid winters. Flat as a ballerina’s ass. No mountains. Very little natural beauty.

where I live: California

pros: we have In-N-Out, we have people from all around the world (aka cultural diversity), and can’t forget the amazingly boring weather. If you’re tired of snow or intense heat come to California🙂

cons: everything is either illegal or needs a license/permit, we have taxes on most everything, and we are also in a drought that I’m starting to think is permanent. Don’t even get me started on crime/unemployment rate cuz it’s bad

My friend lives in Glendale and I loooveee it! But when she found out we bought our 3 acre 1600ft house for $183k she shouted at me in a restaurant. Hahah. So idk. I think you have to pay for beauty and nice weather. And water. But I would still kill to live in California if I was richer!!!
