It is darn hot for Los Angeles area these past few days and I was sitting outside this evening enjoying the muggy skies and was bitten up by mosquitos. How can I keep my chickens from getting bitten by those pests? The Vector Control office found a few dead birds out here infected with WN and I don't want my girls to get it either. I had to run out and buy some shadecloth to hang on the sides of the run to help cool the area.
Anyway, how do you keep the biters away from your feathered family?

never thought about it
