Paradise! (aka Hawaii)
So in Hawaii we have quite the feral chicken problem, however we are in a neighborhood that hasn't had that issue before. I am keeping chickens on the sly, but I have a feral rooster hanging around my yard all of a sudden. I don't have any idea where he came from (I may not be the only sneaky chicken owner)

I have had it with this rooster! At first it was just annoying because he was tearing up my yard, but the other day I found him sitting on top of my chicken coop! My dog has tried to catch him but that sucker can fly!

Suggestions? I don't know where I could get a trap or even if they are effective. I have been rooting for the neighborhood cats but I think he is too smart for them...

I have. I no desire for fertilized eggs (my chickens are just 5 months now and have yet to start laying)

Help!

You should be able to trap him fairly easily with the right food, if you had a trap. Do you have any animal control people or similar, that would catch him for you? Perhaps a rehab center? Check around; there is probably someone who keeps animal traps, and maybe will either loan you one or trap him for you. You can buy a trap here, at TSC, for $40 or so. Maybe ask at your feed store.

It won't matter whether your eggs are fertile or not, you won't know the difference when eating them and they will not develop unless you or a broody hen incubates them. But he could be carrying a disease, or at least parasites like lice and mites.
