Hi there,
I have rescued cockerels and turkeys and have them in little groups in a field in my village near woods. I have them in two enclosed areas with electric poultry netting and lock them up at dusk. I also have the predator eyes, sonar pest machines around and use scoot and marten spray every few days. Not so far away a friend has just lost all her chickens and Roos 😢 very sad, and now I’m panicking incase the same thing happens. Is there anything else I can do? (Picture before I finished covering with scaffold netting 🙂)

Hi there, is this your property? To be honest, there's not much you can do to secure them, as in complete protection like a coop and run if they're aren't actually on private land. Most sprays and and the netting won't work at all and martens and weasels kill for the fun of it and will keep coming back. Perhaps you can find them proper homes, that's their best shot.

No it’s not my property, someone has let me use their land so I could give the boys a home. They all have coops that I lock them in at night and all coops are surrounded by the electric poultry netting. I just didn’t know if there was something else I could do. Thankyou for your reply 🙂

They all have their own coops which I lock them in at dusk, surrounded by the electric netting.
That's good way to deter predators. However, when they free range you have to expect losses. If you wish to keep them safe you will have to keep them in a large pen with a cover and electric wire on the outside.
