Protein for meat birds.

We are planning to feed our meat birds with hot mash and are looking for a source of protein that is more natural to add to it. Any suggestions?

Okay I've done some more research... is anyone using fishmeal for protein for their chickens?

I haven't used it, but I've heard of many people using fishmeal.

We don't have duckweed around here so it wouldn't be a practical thing for us. I have found a source for fishmeal. Thanks!
