Protesting Layer?

Three weeks ago we took in an 8 month old Silkie named Mudpie. Her previous owner said she had been laying every 2 days or so. Since she came to us.....nothing. Ideas?

Chickens hate change. Generally after being moved to a new environment the stress causes them to stop laying for a period of time. Nothing unusual here. Be patient - she will resume laying. Understand however that silkies are not prolific layers.

That was kinda the direction we were headed with it. She's earing and gets along fine with the others. Is sweet as she can be! She's my fav. Bless her heart.
