Proud Cayuga owners!!!!

I cannot tell unless they are mature enough to develop the drake curl on their tail feathers, or lack thereof..... Until they are old enough, I don't worry about their sex. But that's just me.

I have two and they seem to both be developing a raspy drake voice...

The green wings are coming in, and they are both quite comical to watch.

My hen and drake are taking r turns sitting on seven eggs and sometime my bloody copper maran is sitting on them and then some times noone. Hoping they hatch!

I only have the one cayuga girl, but boy I must say she is my favourite of all the ducks. So tame and calm when you hold her, and comes to you for nibbles and treats from your hand :) could not ask for a better girlie! Going to cross breed her next spring with my big silver appleyard boy, hopefully not too big for her.

This is Flip (the cayuga) and Flop (the appleyard) when they were a day old. At 10 weeks they are still like this!
