I woke up this morning to find my first baby chick is born...

I wanna hold her, and hug her, and squeeze her....

But I will wait till she is dryer

Really what I need to know is how long before I can put her in the brooder?

I think they normally say 12 hours to leave them, or is it 24??? Sorry i am no help, i only left mine in about 8 I think!

Wait until another chick hatched and dried before you take them out. 24 hours sounds pretty good!
