Proud Parent

I'm proud of my daughter. She joined the Army a few months before her 18th birthday and let for basic training 1 week after her 18th birthday. At almost 21, she is now in the Army Reserve as an intelligence analyst. She works 2 jobs and is a full-time college student at the University of Florida. She's my hero...

Congrats to all you proud parents, not only congrats to you, but also to a wonderful bunch of young folks who will make this world a better place for all to enjoy!

Down at the Christus Camp we allow the youth that are in trouble and need to provide community service, to come out and help with various projects. Things like moving campfire wood and heating wood to the wood sheds, raking areas, spreading wood chips on the many walking trails etc... some of the kids are coming to help from the boys and girls home that gives them one more chance to be a good person, or prison is the next place they are headed!

Young folks who serve our country and communities in a positive manner are a blessing.

We are lucky, and you have every right to be proud!
