I just wanted to share this with everyone it is a very good fastening system for shade cloth and possibly aviary netting. This product is called wire lock it is used in the greenhouse trade for fastening shade cloth and greenhouse plastic. I used some left over commercial grade weed cloth to provide shade in the run. You can easily undo the wire lock when its time to replace things. All you do is screw the channel down stretch out the covering and weave the wire into the channel to lock it in place. I have provided a link to growers solution who carry the wire lock. They also carry a good selection of shade cloth in varying degrees of shading and colors. They can make them to any size and stitch in grommets to for fastening. I plan on covering the rest of the run with some 30% shade cloth instead of the aviary netting.
