PT Testing in Texas

Texas is no longer doing the PT testing for free by the state. We are now being trained to be authorized testers. They are in the process of doing the training at this time and getting the new program rolled out. Since Texas is such a big state, I have created a Facebook group for the San Antonio and surrounding areas to help those needing testing done reach those authorized to do it. If you are within an hour or so from the San Antonio area, please feel free to join the group.

Effective September 1, 2017, TVMDL will no longer be able to provide field personnel to perform onsite pullorum-typhoid testing. TVMDL will move to a new program structure wherein private individuals will be trained and authorized to perform this testing. This model is used in multiple other states who have had great success in maintaining their pullorum-typhoid free status.

You should make the FB group viewable to the public/non members.
There are a lot of people that do NOT use Facebook.

if they do not use facebook.. what difference does it make how viewable it is? I have several pages on different subjects. Wanted a group this time.

Yes but I am in Conroe Texas, I will have to look to see how far Wharton is from me
