Anywhere to buy these beautiful Alaskan gamebirds?

I HAVE NO IDEA BUT IF YOU FIND 'EM PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!! I AM ALSO LOOKING FOR RUFFED GROUSE OF ANY SPECES. I KNOW A FEW WEEKS AGO I SAW LESSER PRAIRIE CHICKENS ON EGG BID BUT THE PRICE WAS FRIEGHTENING! 200+ PER DOZEN!

Guess I never considered that you could breed ptarmigan, but you wont have to go all the way to Alaska to find one. There are plenty of wild Ptarmigan where I live(colorado).

They all seem to live above treeline(11,700ft.) they blend in with their surroundings summer and winter and they usually scare the dickens out of me when Im hiking because they don't move until you are about to step on them.

Id be totally interested to see if you find some.
