Puffed feathers? Please help!

Fertile eggs? If she's brooding in the nest box, do you have another that the other girls can use? Does the area that she's selected appear safe for newborn chicks? Chicks bounce amazingly well, but it's best to have either a soft landing (deep litter) below where the momma hen is, reduce their elevation to a foot or foot and a half from where they'd land if they fell out of the nest, or modify the nest with a 2x4 (or something similar) to provide a ledge that would keep one-week old chicks IN.
I've found allowing my hens to brood has been deeply rewarding for both the hen, and me. There's a bit of pride and wonder when you can say 'these are homegrown chicks'.

No rooster, no eggs at the moment from any of them due to the Hawk that's been freaking them out lately. She's brooding on air.

The coop isn't very clean right now, but it's getting cleaned this weekend.

If it doesn't work, I'll have to try a different way in a couple of hours.
Your video is not working :(

She's "playing" broody right? I mean she's not running back and sitting all day once you move her? If she will stay relatively "active" during the day once you move her, continue to do that, make her roost too - hopefully she will "snap out of it" in a couple of days.

IF she's full blown broody sitting all the time day/night, then I would break her if you aren't planning on letting her hatch any eggs. They lose condition, you want her back eating/drinking and starting to lay eggs again.

Not sure how to fix the video. :( She went to scavenge fine after I moved her the other day. She must be playing.
I would just keep moving her, sounds like she's playing broody and may snap out of it herself.
With my WPR, she will carry on when I move her. Then she seems satisfied to stand outside puffed up clucking and getting on the other hen's nerves LOL Oh and she will not miss getting in on food/treats either. I get so tickled at her, I know broodies annoy some people, but I get a kick out this one.

Okay, news. I'm very certain she's playing. I took her out and she went to get a drink, and after I left I watched her run to join her friends. I also found the "missing" eggs under the coop.

More news. I'm not so sure about the "playing" part anymore. She has two eggs under her, and got really mad when I picked her up just a while ago. What should I do? I don't want to have to spend money on getting a cage or something to break her, but I'm not sure how long the broodiness will last. Tips?
