Pullet eating and drinking, she's making shrill/shrieks like a broody like she's mad. I would not say she is lethargic. Everyone seems healthy.

This looks like the stance of a chicken who doesn’t feel well. How old? How are her poops looking?

Hmm. I would just keep an eye on behavior, poops, eating/drinking. If she continues to have this stance and isn't moving around much, not eating/drinking, or not very alert (or if others start looking like this), I might be more concerned.

Did this just start today? Have you had these birds since chicks? What kind of feed do they eat? Are they given food scraps/treats often? Do they free range?

It began the day before yesterday, she was most angry then. I thought maybe she had been attacked by a cockerel and was pissed. The next day (yesterday) it continued but she was very active. Today, now that I have been able to observe longer, I can see she is slowing down.

They are fed organic grower feed, we provide a small amount of scratch on some days, cognizant not to give too much. Some times veggies or scrambled egg.

I am very concerned and will try to get her into a vet asap.

We do supervised free range due to massive amount of predators, who attack even when humans are out. At least a couple hours every day, more on the weekends. And yes, they hatched here.

Have you checked her crop to see if it's full, empty, hard, soft and squishy, etc.? Also I would give her a good going over, checking in feathers everywhere for any injury that might be hidden by all the fluff. If she's hard to catch, take her off the roost tonight after dark, and check her over. Then check her crop again first thing in the morning before she's had access to food or water, see what it feels like then. It should be empty in the morning.

I checked at bedtime. The crop itself felt normal, soft-ish. The bulge part felt hard underneath, like bone. As I rubbed it she stretched her neck a teeny bit. I felt the same bone-like thing in another pullet too, but not to the same extent.

Earlier in the day she was trying to preen but she was unable to reach with her head and gave up 😭

The vet is going to try to see her tomorrow.
