Puffy Eye

Does anyone know why a chicken would get a puffy eye? Under one of my hens eyes it was puffy then it got progressively larger?

In a similar situation with one of my peacocks, the vet gave me Baytril and an anti-inflammatory, and his condition cleared up, and it was really bad. The vet thought that something had probably poked into the sinus and the wound became infected.
