Pullet? 3 week old leghorn

Hello. Well, my daughter wanted white eggs since we have all the other colors and not white l. So we picked up two “pullet leghorns” and one seems to have an excessively large comb was three weeks old. I’ve read that this breed does have a large comb but should be be this large this soon? Pullet or roo? Thanks!

For 1, I think it needs a bit more time to mature so it’s sex can be accurately determined. If you post pics when it’s 6 weeks old, we can help better then.

2 is a cockerel. Leghorn’s do have large combs but pullets’ combs don’t really grow huge until they’re ready to lay.

Alright this is the first time I’ve seen the comb so large this early. The people on here have been spot on several times and I’m always amazed because I still don’t know or see it.

A bit too young, however, to me,
#1 suspicious cockerel.
#2 likely cockerel.
Post pics in 3-4 weeks for reassessment.
I have leghorns, the girl’s comb grew large around 14-16 weeks old or so, before then, comb was super small and pale.

Anything is possible, but I highly doubt it's a girl... 3 week olds rarely have massive Combs like that unless they are male!

Wow that's a lot of comb for three weeks. I could be wrong, but I really believe that's a little cockerel. Post more picks when they're around 6 weeks, maybe it'll surprise us and look more like a pullet

1 is most likely a pullet and 2 is more likely a cockerel
