Pullet about to lay one of first eggs

Our 20wk pullet Pippy is currently panting in her nesting box, about to lay an egg. Our first egg was laid yesterday and another this morning but we don’t know from who. She’s been in the box for about 10 minutes, how long until she lays the egg? Should i be worried if it takes too long? She’s making a few high pitched noises, but she has a generally high voice

I think she's ok. My girls always take their time to lay an egg.

how long until she lays the egg?

I've seen hens lay eggs in less than 30 minutes. I saw one take three hours. They lay when they lay.

My fast birds are in and out in 10-12 minutes my slow birds are 60-90 minutes and I’d say the average is about 30-45 mins. With that said the ones that sit there over and hour usually lay the egg in 30-45 mins they just sit there a little longer on it.
