I ordered 4 breeds of bantams from Murray McMurray (Golden Lace Cochin, Partridge Cochin, Mille Fleur, and Quail Antwerp) and I'm unable to identify what this little hen is. She's not the free mystery bird because that one stands out like a sore thumb in my little flock.

Her colouring is similar to the Quail Antwerps, but she lacks the tufts of hair around her face, and her feet are feathered like the Mille Fleur. The other two Mille Fleur I have are much lighter than she is though. Any idea what she could be? Is she a Mille Fleur but with different colouring?

Attached are pictures of her, the Quail Antwerp (marked QA on pics), and the other Mille Fleur (marked MF) for comparison. All the birds are 6 weeks old.

FYI, this is my first time trying to attach files so hopefully the images show up. FullSizeRender (1).jpg FullSizeRender (2).jpg IMG_2096.jpg MF and Unknown.jpg QAmale PCmale MFfemale.jpg Mille Fleur Hen.jpg

Thank you for the reply, but I don't know what a booted bantam is. She should only be one of the four breeds I ordered:

Golden Lace Cochin, Partridge Cochin, Mille Fleur, and Quail Antwerp. The Quail Antwerp are out because she's got feathers on her feet, and she looks nothing like the Partridge or Golden Lace Cochins, but as I mentioned above, she doesn't look like the two Mille Fleur I have either.

Is it possible that Murray McMurray sent a 5th random breed by mistake (and again, it's not the free mystery bird. I can easily identify him)? If so, what breed could it be?

She's probably a Mille Fleur d'Uccle- hatchery birds sometimes don't fully represent the breed, I had one clean legged silkie out of an order of 75.
