I have a cockrell and a pullet that were raised together. The pullet is a banam and much smaller than all my other hens. The two have integrated into the flock, but these two generally hang together. In fact, at night, if it's cold, the cockrell will wrap his wings around the banam. These two roost outside, while the older hens roost in the house. The little banam follows him around everywhere. As much as I like this cockrell, and think he's going to be a great rooster, I need to get rid of him. Am I crazy to be worried about the banam being depressed without him?
