I have a pullet that is roughly 18 weeks. I noticed her moving slowly and just kind of wondering around the coop and sticking to herself a few days ago. I observed her drinking excessively and just kind of pecking at her food and not really eating. I brought her into our shop and I have her under heat. She is in a big enough space to move freely away from the heat if needed. She is drinking a ton of water and eating very little. She is still pecking at her food but not really eating much. I have checked her crop several times and I don’t feel anything. Her poop is mostly water. She has not begun laying. She is very skinny and looking quite pale as of today. What could be going on with her?

I have added nutridrench to her water and have offered scrambled eggs but she pecks around them.

Sounds like worms, do you have a dewormer or able to purchase locally? She doesnt have a lot of time left of you can't get her a dewormer like fenbendazole. I use fenbendazole or ivermectin, it gets applied the same way via oral drops. If she is already down on weight and has stopped eating, it's getting late stage.

Vitamins are not going to save her, they may help her or they may help the worms too. Need to give her a couple drops of a dewormer.

Thank you. That was my suspension. I dewormed with safeguard yesterday. Im hoping it’s not too late for her 🤞

Please get some photos of her poop and of her.

Drinking excessively is usually a crop or digestive issue. Re-check her crop to make sure it's emptying.
It's possible she may have a blockage further in the digestive system that she's trying to clear. Do you make grit available free choice?

Worms and/or coccidiosis are possible contributors to lethargy as well, consider getting a fecal float for confirmation of those.

She's 18 wks - is she laying eggs yet? Any bloat or fluid in the abdomen below the vent between her legs?

She has not begun to lay. Her body feels normal aside from being really skinny. Vent looks fine. Everyone was treated with Corid within the past few weeks due to a younger chick having cocci and I treated everyone in case there was any transfer. Yes, grit is free choice.
