Hi all,

New to the chicken world, so please bear with my newbieness.

Just got 2 pullets 2 weeks ago. Cross of RIR and White Sussex, real beauties.
Anyways, I got them from a chicken farm where there were some roosters roaming about.
One of my girls has layed her first egg as of today.
I'm wondering is there any chance its fertilized? Or will any of the subsequent eggs be?

Thanks! (also, lost without this site!!)

first pullet eggs, I'd think probably won't be fertile but they could be depending on how aggressive the roos were. how's that for a definite maybe.
