Funniest thing happened the other day…
Our 12 week old RIR production red pullet, Miss Chickie, flew into our tree nursery, into a baby 8' apple tree and began to (purposefully) feed her flockmates apples! Who would've thought they could work in conjunction with each other?
Look at the look of delighted glee on Miss C's face after flying into the tree! Eureka!
One of her flock-mates flew up on my shoulder to watch the action.
Sir Banty Bansalot watched for apple.
Here she was with the last apple.
Hope you have a great day!
P.S. She actually ate the last one herself.
