Pullet getting beat up badly

Hello, I'm new to raising chickens and have a question about introducing a pullet to an existing coop. I have two laying RIR hens. Been trying to introduce a pullet Americanca for a couple of weeks now. Every time I take down a small chicken wire fence that separates her from the two RIR's, they really put a beating on her. So much so that she crouches in the corner and won't move for hours. She has been with them for a day and a half now and I have not seen her eat or drink, so I am getting concerned and may put her back in separation. Any suggestions? or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance

Try putting one of the RIR's in isolation. I would probably remove the bird completely so the other can not see it. That way the one will be forced to accept the other or be lonely.

If that doesn't work then remove both of them and put them where they can't roam.

Awesome info! Thank you very much. They have plenty of room so space is not part of the problem - I think it has to do with age more than anything else.

Thanks again,
