Pullet has not laid an egg in a week

It was 5 weeks since we broke her. I did not think she was ever going to get back to laying. I don't know if this has anything to do with her going broody but since she seems to be a tad bit more aggressive when giving treats. Nothing to be alarmed about but she was really shy before but now has no problem coming to me and getting her fair share of what ever they are getting that particular day. Don't know if that has anything to do with the hormone thing or am I just over thinking this. Bottom line is that it was a good day with all three of them laying. I guess you can say that we are all back to hor-normal. It sounds like you have had a busy summer so far. It sounds like you have way more chickens than we do. I wish we could have more than we can but rules are rules. Still might get at least one more maybe two, then we will be maxed out. Good luck with the hens.

Just a quick update on my broody pullet. We finally got an egg from her today.:ya It has been 2 days shy of five weeks since she went broody and last laid an egg. I thought that there was an underlying problem with her but I am gong to assume that it takes some chickens longer than others to get back to normal. Hopefully she won't go broody for a while. On a side note, my bloody stump from her has healed nicely ;)
Congratulations!!
