Pullet keeping 1 eye closed

My 12 week old Owl Beard seems to be having an issue with her left eye. Just started today and she's keeping it shut a lot.

I can't see anything obviously wrong with it except the eyelid may be a little swollen. Her eye itself looks fine.

I just cleaned it out with a sterile saline solution in case there was debris or something in it.

Anything else I can do?

She's acting completely fine otherwise.

Good idea rinsing and cleaning out the eye with saline. I'd watch to see if she continues to keep it closed. Maybe she had some feathers or dust in the eye.

If needed, you can put a dab of Terramycin eye ointment in the eye to help with inflammation and infection.

Have you ever had any respiratory or sinus illnesses within your existing flock(s)?

No respiratory or sinus issues in my flock of 10. Everyone is good and healthy!

Yes, you should be able to.

If you have a store like TSC, usually they have Terramycin eye ointment, if not you can order it from Amazon.
