I have 22 19 week old pullets who are just at point of lay. The only white egg layer is one Leghorn. This morning I found her first pullet egg on the floor of the coop. A few hours later there was another in a nesting box! Is it possible for her to lay her first 2 eggs just hours apart? I know it sometimes takes a while for the egg laying mechanisms to sychronize, but I've never seen this before!
