This pullet laid her first egg on August 21, second on August 23, and then nothing. She's a very pretty pullet with no issues at all.
She was born on March 3.
What do you think? No hidden nests outside, I looked everywhere.

Still nothing 🤣
But dang, she's so pretty!

Still nothing, and comb is paler then ever 😨
I really hope she's not a dud cause it would be awful to make soup out of her.
She just may be a periodic layer impacted by winter. If it's winter where you are, a lot of birds are taking a break since there is less than 10 hrs of daylight. When you get that or more in the spring, laying should start again. Give her until about June, she should lay in March/Feb I should think. If she hasn't done anything by June, then consider soup or rehoming.

I had one hen who would lay for ~2 months, then take a month off. If the month off was close to winter, it would be an extended break. Then she'd start again in spring. Couldn't get her to lay all thru spring/summer/fall for anything. Couple weeks on, couple weeks off.

She was a Black Copper Marans, I only had one, and I loved her egg color, decent size. But she sucked as a layer.

Her tail is up, so she's not seeming to be in any distress. She wouldn't still be alive if she'd had an impacted egg, but I think I'd still try calcium therapy on her.

I'd give her one calcium citrate +D3 around 300mg per day for a few days or up to a week. That will cause contractions and move anything along in case she might have something stuck in there.

She's an Easter egger, legbar/araucana mix.

I wonder if this is because of the Legbar in her heritage?

I have one Easter egger/Cream Legbar mix. She is about 9 yrs old now. Never laid an egg in winter, not even her first year. Laid well the rest of the year.

I have had over a dozen Cream Legbars over the years. None of these laid during the shortest days of winter. Several matured to lay in August. Laid several eggs and stopped as days got short in their first year.

All of these birds layed lots of eggs the rest of the year. Most were my early starters of the year as days got longer late Jan and into Feb.

I do not know if this is normal for the breed.
I would give her time. She could surprise you by spring.

I heard legbars are stingy in winter.
I'll wait until spring and see how it goes. Hopefully she's just more legbar than her other sisters.

I don't think she has any reproductive problem, it's either she's a dud and she's sterile for some reason, or she's just one of those who lay no eggs when days are shortening. We'll see what happens in spring.
