Pullet laying in run

Hi, I have an RIR pullet that refuses to lay in the nest boxes i provide. The boxes are bedded with hay and i've planted golf balls. My leghorns and BR are laying in the nest box. So my question is, how to get the RIR to lay in the nest box instead of out in the run. Thanks in advance

Can you lock her in the coop (house part of coop, I guess I mean) for two days? We had a similar issue and that worked wonders.

She will prolly come around after a while.Sometimes the pullet down on the pecking order is intimidated by the others and doesn't feel welcome around the nests, looking for a safer place to lay.
