I have a smaller coop with my 5 hamburg babies in it. They are about 6 weeks old. Yesterday when I had both coops open for them to socialize and become further acquainted one of my EE pullets (7 months old) decided she wanted to be in the coop with the babies. She flew in the door and settled in, checked out the nesting boxes, laid her egg and explored the run. I let her spend the night in there because she obviously didn't want to come out. If I switch the little ones to flock raiser does any one see an issue with her staying with them? She has always been the loner of my big ones and prefers to be off by herself and avoid the roos if possible.

She's being very good. She has been leading them out into the run more and snuggling with them in the coop.

Any issues with putting 6 or 7 week old chicks on flock raiser instead of grower feed?
