pullet never layed eggs and acts broody ???

ok so I have a Black Australorp BBR Game cross that is somewhere between 6-8 months old and she has never layed an egg she is in with 1 bantam chick and 2 roosters but she acts kinda broody like one day she acts broody the next she's normal is this normal ? does they do this ? or do I have a weird chicken ??

I have a silkie that does this. She'll sit on a few eggs and puff up and growl at anyone that comes near and then a few days later she's her normal self running around with everyone else. She hasn't laid an egg yet either. It's kind of cute for now. She's a real sweetie.

thats how she is but she sits on an empty nest lol at least it's not just her lol I thought about giving her some eggs but then she was up again lol wish she would make up her mind less work for me lol her momma was always broody
