Yes, but any amount of redness in a chick so young is almost a sure sign of a cockerel. A side view would help, though.Can you post a side view? I think that would make it easier to tell. But even if the comb is big it's not a definite cockerel. Chickens can trick even the most experienced person on occasion.
I agree completely, I've just had my fair share of surprise hens and roos to take anything about chickens to be fact. I have experience but just farm stuff I'm not a professional breeder. haha I'm so glad this didn't get heated.
