I guess golden comet roos are white. That's why I thought that.

They dont pass down that trait to their offspring

Agreed, the sex linking in golden comets and other red sex links, only occurs in the first generation. It cannot happen in any following generation. And you have to have the proper 'recipe' to have it work.
