Hi! I got two chicks from a local farmer (met the chicken and rooster parents).
One of them is an olive egger, described as Wellsummer/Ameraucana and the other they called an Ameraucana--I don't really care, just hoping for fun egg colors. I also paid $4 each, so . . . not exactly high end.
They are 11 or 12 weeks old. The olive egger is 100% rooster. I'll include a pic of the two of them relaxing in the corn just for fun
these 2 birds are never more than 5 inches apart from each other, very cute).
I think this is a pullet--I'd describe her as petite and nervous. Kind of like a chicken version of Piglet from Winnie the Pooh.
But since the revelation that her best friend is a rooster, I'm worried.
