Hi there!

I have seven 9 week old chickens that I am trying to sex but haven't been able to really determine what their genders are. The chickens are barnyard mixes of black sex link (gender is not linked to this generation though), red sex link (gender is not linked to color or pattern), jersey giant, and dad was an australorp. I think I have at least two roosters, I am hoping that is it but I could really use some help! We are allowed to keep hens but cannot keep roosters because of the noise. I am hoping to determine their gender before they start crowing! I know I should wait until they are 12 weeks and their saddle and hackle feathers come in but I thought I’d get some advice! I think we have two hens, two roosters, but I’m not sure about the other 3!

Thank you so much for the help!
