Why I never do straight run. I have bad luck too.Thanks...that's what I thought. I got an assortment of 7 straight run chicks (3 bantam cochins, a silkie, 2 lavender ameraucanas and 1 blue laced red wyandotte)...4 of them are male![]()

i am pretty sure i have mostly pullets, but that could change.On top of that, the males were my favorites, of courseWhy I never do straight run. I have bad luck too.

Males are always more friendly up front as chicks. They often turn into dingleberries as they sexually mature. Females often are more reserved as chicks but become nice and friendly as they sexually mature. So those males will be driving you bonkers soon grabbing girls, and strutting their stuff.On top of that, the males were my favorites, of course![]()
