Since everyone loves this game so much... hahaha Just picked up 3 EEers. ...2 out of blue eggs; one out of a green. This is the green egger. Supposedly an 8 week pullet but I'm guessing 6 week roo. Thoughts?

I should have specified...I say 6 weeks when they're in their 6th week but technically 5 weeks. For future reference , how do you guys refer to age...by completed weeks or current week?Looks more like a 4 to 5 week old, judging by the amount of feathering. And definitely a cockerel.
Just great...it was my favorite of the 3Thanks everyone!
7 days after hatch counts as one week. I have chicks that hatched on March 15. That makes them 4.5 weeks old.I should have specified...I say 6 weeks when they're in their 6th week but technically 5 weeks. For future reference , how do you guys refer to age...by completed weeks or current week?
Okay...so I need to change how I address them. Thinking you're right... around 5 weeks. Pretty large for 4 weeks but he's an EE...God knows what's in him. Breeder has utilized Brahmas in the past. Maybe that explains size. Possibly marans as well. Any ideahow he might feather out being that he's grey/rust. Was going to bring him back and exchange him but he cuddled into my chest and started trilling. I'm in love <37 days after hatch counts as one week. I have chicks that hatched on March 15. I'm guessing that he'll look like something in between a Blue Copper Marans and a Buff Brahma.Okay...so I need to change how I address them. Thinking you're right... around 5 weeks.
