Pullet or Cockerel?

Thought it was a cockerel but I have seen one of the Roosters trying to mount it? 8 weeks old.

Are you sure that bird is just 8 weeks old?

That comb is pretty big.

Roosters will mount other males as a dominance thing.

If your rooster's trying to mount an eight-weeker, he has no idea what he's doing in any case. That's a cockerel.

It does look like a cockerel to me, and yes roosters will sometimes mount cockerels to show dominance.

Your rooster is a nut case if he’s mounting 8 week old pullets, or cockerels for that matter. Not sure you need to leave him unattended with the flock if he’s got a “thing” for the youngsters!

That bird looks like a cock to me! That seems way too big a comb for an 8-week-old pullet. And yes, cocks will definitely mount cockerels.

Maybe 9 weeks tops. Rooster is blind in one eye and I have a hen that looks similar might have something to do with it. Thought maybe the Roo saw something I didn't. Lol
