What makes Autumn a boy?! My confirmed female Plymouth barred rock has the same colored comb!

Pics? Is it the BR in the pic? Because that one is male.

It has a pea comb, while Barred Rocks have single combs. The size difference is relative to the breed and his comb is indicative of him being a cockerel. I'm also seeing some patchy coloring
