Pullet or cockerel

This little guy is a barnyard mix of standard red star, bantam Cochin and bantam cubalaya... long story... it’s about 5 weeks old... bio dad had a pea comb (was the cubalaya). Any idea on sex or is it way too early?

Thank you! It’s raised by a broody, so unfortunately terrified of me. Won’t let me near it.

I've got chicks with broodies and I make sure I handle them twice a day and give treats etc. So far they are quite friendly because they are so used to it
