Pullet or cockerel?

My mom ordered four EEs and four FBCMs. These hatched end of May.
No eggs. No crowing. Those coopery patches make me think it’s a male olive egger. But there should be more male specific feathering by now so then I think POL pullet and eggs are incoming. Maybe the hatchery screwed up an sent a golden cuckoo maran…

Hatched end of May so just over 4 months. Could be a Golden Cuckoo but those shoulder patches are not something I’ve seen in Cuckoos golden or otherwise. I have seen them on an Olive Egger with Maran parentage but that one turned out to be a rooster. And an obvious one by this age

Mmmmm... my vote is Olive Egger cockerel. Golden cuckoo marans should have the lighter color hackles.
