Both were sold as pulley chicks from a feed store

This one is from the same purchase and completely different ! So odd. I wouldn't think the feed sore would mess up with 2 out of the 3. Could they just be developing faster?

From what I've read on here, bright red before 10 weeks means roo. I bought 6 hens (3 barred rock 3 buff) which were all suppose to be pullets. All three of the buff turned out to be roosters. Maybe it's a buff thing? I wonder if they are harder to sex.
