Pullet or roo?

She/he had a twin that looked totally different, a much larger comb and a roo tail. I have said from day 1 this buff is a pullet but bow someone has me questioning that. What do you guys think? 17 weeks old.

I'm going to say cockerel... those look to be some pretty suspicious saddle feathers. :confused: For comparison, this is how the saddle area looks on my 18 week old Buff orp right now. More rounded, not longer and pointy.

you should have noticed a pretty significant difference in how they feathered out. The males tend to feather out much slower that the girls. Tail feathers are usually quick to grow out on the girls where as the boys are usually tailless or appear to be in caparison several weeks after the girls have defined tail feathers.
 
Roo...pointed tips saddle feathers, red comb & wattles.
