I need some help with these 8 week old chickens. There are 3 BRs, one EE, and not sure about the white one and the caramel colored one. I was told by the lady that I got the eggs from that those two were White Jerseys. From what I have read I don't think so. The other breed she had was White Rocks. Also I suspect they are all crosses. Any help with the breed and sex of these chickens would be greatly appreciated.

From the pics your 3 BR do not look like mutts. The look pure breed to me. You have a EE for sure might be mutt though. The white one may be a White Rock and also could be a White Leghorn. And he Caramel colored one im not possitive about that one.
First Pic = BR Cockrel
Second Pic = BR pullet
Third Pic = 2 BR pullets and 1 BR cockrel (one in the middle) and "unknown breed" cockrel
The caramel colored one i am not sure of.
Hope it helps

All birds with brown feathers are EE.Barred ones and white ones are mix between Barred Rock, White Rock and Dominique.I'll tell you why:There is not Rose comb Rock and Single comb Dominique(sp). Some of your birds have rose comb ,some single

Thank you all for your opinions. Anyone have an opinion on whether or not the caramel colored one is a Roo?
Thanks again.

I have BR's and I think the BR you have are all pullets. I'm not sure about the other breed. The male BR I had was different looking even as a chick from the others. Much more white between his black feathers. I don't see his "look" in any of yours.

First one looks to be a Dominique pullet, second BR pullet, Leghorns can be single or rosecomb but your whites look like they may be mixed pullets, red ones look to be gold comet or red star pullets, and the blue/red an EE pullet.
