First batch of hatched eggs are now 5 weeks and I am wondering if I have future egg layers or future dinners on my hands. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I haven't had chickens since I was a kid growing up on a farm so I really consider myself a newbie. Basically my guesses are pure speculation but I thought I had to start somewhere!

#1 - BBS English Orpington (I think it is a roo based on tail feathers and growth on comb)

#2 - Black Copper Marans (I think it may be a pullet)

#3 - Light Sussex (I think it is a roo based on shear size and growth rate of comb/wattle)

#4 - Silver Penciled Rock (I think the coloring indicates pullet but definitely acts like a roo)

#5 - Blue English Orpington (I think it may be a pullet)

One and three are looking like cockerels. Sorry

#5 looks like a pullet, and #4 does too. I'm not sure on #2; the comb and wattles are a little large, though not that red-- I'm guessing pullet. #1 and #3 are cockerels.
