What breed? The red shoulders say cockerel. Comb is a little big too.

The rust-colored shoulders are a dead giveaway. Cockerel for sure.

My guess would be a hen. Has no signs of becoming a rooster. Congrats!

Without a doubt, that's a cockerel, only males have red shoulder patches.

It’s comb is lighter color and smaller than the obvious cockerel that hatched same day. I know EE are hard to determine early.

A clear sign an EE is a cockerel is the red/rust color patches on the shoulders. The females will have much more even color pattern.
