pullet pecking other pullets feathers off and eating them.

one of my 5 week old easter egger pullets has been pecking the other pullets feathers off and eating them. she pulls them off their backs and eats them. they do have food and water so thats not the problem. she has given most of them bald spots on their backs. she won't stop i tried separating her but as soon as i put her back she goes at it again. does anyone know what to do? if there something to put on the other pullets feathers so she stops eating their feathers.

Buy some Bitter Apple spray from the pet store, or a product called Veterinarians Best hot spot spray. Chickens hate the taste of it. Make sure enough feed and water stations are available for chicks. Starter/grower feed at 22% protein is better than the average 18% of some others.
