Pullet seems ill

For the past few days, one of my pullets has been acting weird. 3-4 pullets of mine have just started laying eggs, and our plumpest pullet is yet to lay. She’s been acting a bit weird, for example, sleeping more often, laying down and standing with her head tucked in, and not showing as much interest in food. She’s been free ranging just fine and her tail is never down. Could she just be tired?

Hi! How is she eating? Have you checked her crop? Is it full at night and empty in the morning? Even though she's fluffy she's she feel like she's a decent weight as compared to the other girls?

What is their daily diet?

It's possible she may be calcium deficient if they're starting to lay. Can you give her calcium citrate tablet, see if that perks her up.

What are her stools like?

Is it hot where you are?

I’ve noticed her drinking but when i try to hand feed her, she just scrapes the food around and walks away. Their diet for the past week has just been layer feed and anything they pick up while free ranging like grass and weeds. Our weather has been a bit hot lately but it’s cooled down the past few days. Everyone’s out taking dirt baths atm and she’s staying inside.
