Pullet Sitting on Eggs

As far as I can tell, all the eggs are looking good!
I have found that I have never had a problem moving the mother once the chicks have hatched, but I haven't had much luck moving them while sitting.
So I would wait till they hatch before moving them.

Thanks, we'll leave her on as I think we are getting close and the other girls seem to be helping her out and she's happy.

I got a camera so I can monitor things but of course it's not work properly!

Ok we've risked it and moved her.

She's in the chick brooder. It was a big risk this late in the game but my concerns were so many and not being able to monitor the coop. I felt like we should try now before it's too late.

Right now she's doing ok, it's only been about 40mins but I feel that if she was going to come off the eggs she would have. We moved the eggs into a basket wrapped up to limit movement. Put some warmed up eggs in the cat carry filled with comfy bedding and then slid her off the nest and into the cat carrier..

Once we bought her into the brooder we made sure she was going to stay for now at least and put the real eggs under her and the fake ones out.

We checked on her a few minutes ago and shes rearranged the new nest and got comfy.

Here's hoping she likes her new home and doesn't miss her sister too much.

Husband is probably going to rebuild the little coop we took apart a month ago so once everyone that is going to hatch, hatches and they can all go back outside with a look no touch distance from the big girls. If marshmallow is interested in raising chicks if they hatch.

So our broody is still sitting wonderfully.

We haven't had any signs of hatching yet. I think the latest would be next Wednesday but I've read that you can hear the chick in the shell, is that true?

If you can hear them at what stage would this be.
We aren't candling anymore because I though ght they were close but I think we may very carefully candle tonight because I can't hear anything

So we think the earliest hatch could be Sunday and the latest Wednesday

Any ideas on stages?

I'm sorry I should have labeled the pictures. I'm changing the pics because they were the worst!

Number one looks like something is pushing though maybe?
The other 3 still look alive at least.
If marshmallow leaves the nest once the older ones we now have a backup in her sister who is back to being broody. Noodles isn't as dedicated as marshmallow but hopefully as it's only a few days she'll stick it out 😊
