Pullet started laying and stopped

I've heard of the strength of the color changing, getting lighter or darker. Think it's related to age and diet. But never heard of any changing color itself. A blue layer will always be blue. I would look into the shelless situation deeper. To me that seems higher on the list. Have any of the others been laying?
Think i switched to the layena too late and now we have more shell less eggs. I wrote an update and was curios your thoughts!

Shell less eggs have increased to about 2 a day. I was mixing the all flock and the layena so i got rid of all flock and have the layena. Also have oyster shells to boost calcium. I am guessing that while the were free ranging there were more shell less eggs or they were eating them so i only saw the rare few. Still common at this stage of the game of 21 week old layers.

Anything else i can do to right the wrong quickly?
Nothing happens too quickly. You need to give any change time to work....and first time for them to get used to it. It can take up to a month for a new layer to get into her groove.

Still no green egg but a couple shell less eggs a day since the lock up started. I wrote an update post.

Thoughts?

Shelless eggs are about more than just calcium..are you feeding anything other than the chicken feed and plain water?

They get oyster shells and some garden fruits and veggies. Since i started the lock down i have tried to limit that to encourage they really to eat the feed since i think it is a more balanced approach to ensuring they get enough calcium. Today in the fresh water i added a capful if apple cider vinegar. Since they are living in the coop and run only i wanted to try and increase their immunity.

Limit the fruits and veggies not the oyster shells...

Give meal worms as treats instead of fruit and veg.
Skip the ACV....it can inhibit calcium uptake.
When there are odd egg issues, go back to basics.
A good basic chicken ration, and plain water.

I just i feel like such a goof. I started them on layena as soon as i got my first egg. Then someone told me that i should feed later feed until they all start laying because it may stall production. So i switched back to the flock raiser. I feel like i messed it all up and should have stayed the course with my instinct which was layena once layers started...:barnie

Keep them on whatever you are feeding right now...if it's FR the extra protein is not going to hurt, just put out a separate container of oyster shell..and sprinkle some around on the ground for them to find.
