My Jersey Giants are 25 weeks and still don't have combs like that. At 13 weeks those tails and combs look like cockerels to me. It looks like hackles are starting to come in on Jersey Giants don't typically lay until at least 6 months so it's not a pullet at POL.

Thank you both so much! I do love them. They are so sweet and soft! Dare I say they are my favorite in the flock? It’s good to know someone else has seen exactly what I’m talking about! They both came from a local feed store.

They're my favorites in my flock, And that's saying something since I have over at least 120 chickens. Although if they came from a feed store then they most likely came from a hatchery, I wouldn't expect them to get much bigger than an Australorp since a lot of hatchery JGs are mixed with them for better egg production..
